About Us

Scott and Pam Krause, The Krause Team, are excited about helping people buy, sell, or rent their homes. Scott is a retired Air Force pilot, IT consultant and former federal government executive. Pam has a degree in Finance and had her own small business of decorating and staging. They have lived in Northern Virginia and Maryland for more than 20 years and are using their past buying and selling experiences to make buying and selling an enjoyable process. Their motto is: "Full time service, first class help." They believe their fun-loving, can-do attitude make them the best NOVA/DC/MD realtor team.

Buyers get new roof before purchase

We helped the tenants of their future townhouse by showing them other properties. However, their ultimate desire was to purchase the property they were renting, which needed work before they were willing to purchase it. We negotiated with the listing agent to: 1. Agree to a price that included a new roof 2. Coordinated an estimate on the new roof with the Sellers, who lived overseas 3. Supervised the allowance of the roof installation while our clients were on vacation 4. Close on time!

Buyers bought via Facetime!

From beginning to end, we helped build a military family's confidence by walking through the buying process in the DMV. They opted to look for homes in Maryland, closer to their workplace. We showed them properties remotely from Florida, using Apple Facetime to walk through each property. They didn't get to see the property until after closing. We purchased a home warranty for them, as we do with all our buyers, to make them feel more comfortable in their sight-unseen purchase.

Helped Pediatric Doctor and her Army Doctor Husband Find a House

We helped a military family find a home. They only came from Texas one time, when they didn't find their house but learned more about their future community. After several months, they settled on a house south of Baltimore using only Facetime from Texas. She now works at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore and needs to be close to work. Her husband commutes to Fort Belvoir in Virginia.
